Description
Your Responsibilities
- Assemble lighting products following diagrams and technical instructions;
- Produce a compliant product according to specifications, quality and productivity standards;
- Read purchase orders, drawings and material lists;
- Prepare parts to be assembled;
- Perform functional tests on finished products to verify their compliance with quality standards;
- Use appropriate tools;
- Report to your immediate superior any problem encountered during your work;
- Work in a manner that is respectful of the work area, individuals and tools;
- Respect the directives of the quality management system, environment;
- Provide support to other departments when necessary (picking, packaging, etc.);
- Perform all other related tasks.
Education + Experience Required
- Possess knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma;
- DVS/STC in a related field (assembly, electronics, etc.) or any experience deemed equivalent (asset);
- Have 1 year of experience in assembling device parts and components;
- Experience in electronics or related field (asset).
Qualifications + Skills Required
- Have good physical capacity and good manual dexterity;
- Be able to handle basic tools (screwdriver, drill, pliers, assembly template, etc.);
- Be able to express oneself in French, orally and in writing, and have a basic knowledge of English, orally and in writing, to interact occasionally with colleagues, clients and partners at the international and who do not speak French;
- Be results-oriented and demonstrate work ethic;
- Have rigor and speed of execution;
- Have attention to details and quality;
- Be a good team worker and be open to changes;
- Have a good knowledge of the use of measuring tools (asset).
