Invoicing Technician (Temporary)
Description
Your Responsibilities
- Processes invoices (daily) and statements (monthly).
- Ensure that invoicing complies with tax laws and company standards.
- Monitor aging of receivables.
- Communicate with customers to collect overdue amounts and identify reasons for non-payment.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
- Record revenues.
- Ensure that invoicing complies with tax legislation and company standards.
- Prepare various accounts receivable reports (weekly and monthly).
- Assist the accounting team with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- All other related tasks.
Education + Experience Required
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or College Diploma (DEC) in accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in a similar position.
Qualifications + Skills Required
- Proficiency with a fully integrated accounting system (ERP).
- Work effectively with all levels of customers (internal and external).
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and express ideas easily.
- Autonomous and organized.
- Ability to manage priorities and be detail-oriented.
- Dynamic and reliable.
- Collaborative and team player.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism essential (spoken and written French and English), as the incumbent will be required to interact daily with international colleagues, customers and partners who do not speak French.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (asset).
