Spotlight on Your New Challenge

Under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager, the candidate will be given the opportunity to handle a wide range of responsibilities that include:

Your Responsabilities

• Actively participate in the complete month-end and quarter-end process;
• Make adjustments and reclassifications at month's ends;
• Participate in the management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
• Assist in preparing and participate in review analyzes of financial statements, budgets, variances, margin monitoring, internal controls, actual cost, and standard cost variances, etc;
• Take part in various other projects;
• See to process improvement;
• Assist other team members in complex accounting analyses;
• Assist the Accounting team during the annual external audit;
• All other related tasks.

Your Skills in the Spotlight

Training and Experience Required

• BAC in Accounting;
• A CPA designation will be considered an asset;
• Two (2) to three (3) years' experience with the complete accounting cycle.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel;
• Very good analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing tasks;
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English: bilingualism is required;
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, being able to navigate ambiguity and complexity;
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels (internal and external), have a strong team spirit;
• Experience demonstrating positive and constructive leadership;
• Be well organized with your time and demonstrate rigor;
• Additional experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset;
• Must have experience with an integrated system (ERP), preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX;
• Excellence in customer service.
