Lumenpulse Wins Product Innovation Award for Outstanding Website
The 9th PIA for the company recognizes its great strides in Market Leadership for online strategies
Montreal, QC
Lumenpulse, a leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, is pleased to announce that it has garnered an Architectural SSL Product Innovation Award (PIA) for Outstanding Website in the category of Market Leadership. This is the third year in a row that Lumenpulse has been recognized by the PIA, and it is the 9th PIA it has earned.
"This year, more than ever, things were tough, as frankly, the competition has cranked up, and our judges have also ramped up the criteria as to what impresses them," says Jim Crockett, Editorial Director of Architectural SSL magazine. "The good news is: there was plenty to be impressed by."
The redesigned Lumenpulse website was developed with AX2, a Montreal-based design agency, and launched in July 2012. The revamp features a more vibrant and visual layout, that helps anyone—from seasoned designers to casual browsers—find information quickly, while also encouraging them to explore. A responsive web design approach was also used to facilitate platform-agnostic browsing, whether from a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
"Light is a highly visual medium. We took a similarly visual approach when organizing the information on our website," says Jesse Lilley, VP of Marketing at Lumenpulse. "That is the reason for its success; it allows clients to locate exactly what they are looking for among a wealth of material."
The PIA winners were announced today in the latest issue of Architectural SSL magazine. PIA trophies will be presented to winners on April 23 at Lightfair, which takes place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
