The New England Aquarium (NEAQ) installation has made the cover of Architectural Lighting's March/April issue.

Designed by Available Light, the new LED lighting scheme at NEAQ is a sign of things to come for aquariums, which often have to balance energy efficiency and operational costs with the needs of animals and visitors alike.

Available Light used custom (WGB) Lumenbeam luminaires to create a lighting scheme that improved animal care, visitor experience and control, all while cutting energy consumption and costs.

"The Lumenpulse luminaires offered the right form factor, size, performance, DMX control, and price," said Matt Zelkowitz, Assoc. IALD, LC Principal at Available Light. "The smaller size, custom programmability, high efficiency, and optical performance made LED the clear choice."
