Technician Credit and Billing

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the sending of invoices (daily) and statements (monthly);
- Analyze the openings of new customer accounts to determine the credit term;
- Carry out risk analysis, checks and credit limits, monitoring the age of receivable accounts;
- Communicate with customers to collect overdue amounts; identify reasons for non-payment and develop recovery plans with the manager;
- Handle customer requests;
- Provide quality customer service for internal and external customers;
- Prepare various A/R reports (weekly and monthly);
- Recording of receipts;
- Assist the accounting team in closing the month/quarter/year ends;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;
- All other tasks related to the department.
Education + Experience Required
- Diploma of Professional Studies (DPS) or Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Accounting or the equivalent;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar job.
Qualifications + Skills Required
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of clients (internal and external);
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate and express ideas easily, autonomous and organized;
- Ability to manage priorities, detail-oriented, dynamic and reliable. Ability to collaborate and profide support to the entire Finance team;
- Have experience with a fully integrated accounting system (ERP), knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, an asset;
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly with Excel;
- Strong organization and relation skills;
- Thoroughly bilingual (spoken and written French and English). The position holder will be required to interact daily with international colleagues, clients, and partners who do not speak French;
