Lumenpulse Lumencove and Lumenbeam take Gold Medals in Architectural SSL Magazine’s PIA Awards

Lumenpulse Inc., a leading innovator and manufacturer of high performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, announced that its Lumencove™ and Lumenbeam™ products have received Gold Awards from Architectural SSL Magazine's first annual Product Innovation Awards (PIA).

The PIA ‘11 Awards were established to honor the best LED/solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, while also recognizing the companies behind the components. Judging more than 160 entries, the winners were selected based on criteria ranging from cutting-edge R&D and standards development to solid-state lighting sustainability.


Lumencove Goes Gold in Cove/Linear Category
Lumencove, Lumenpulse's modular LED adjustable lighting system, took Gold in the PIA Cove/Linear category. Judges commented on the "impressive output, good power supply and great adjustable feature" of Lumencove, seeing it as an "excellent product for coves or display."


Available in 1', 2' 3', 4' and 8' lengths in white and RGB, Lumencove is an ideal solution for tight space applications. The 8' sections lower installation costs significantly by reducing the number of connections required on a linear run. Lumencove uses only 5 watts per foot and is designed to ensure sustainability and ease of maintenance by allowing for component vs. whole luminaire replacement.


Lumenbeam Lands Gold in Architectural/Flood Category
Lumenbeam, Lumenpulse's exterior and interior architectural flood lighting system, took Gold PIA '11 in the Architectural/Flood category. Judges zeroed in on the product "contain[ing] all the voltage/control/distribution options one desires," recognizing strong functionality, "impressive" L70 hours, LM 79 compliance and a 5-year warranty.

Lumenbeam is available in 3 sizes (medium, large, and Xlarge), in white or RGB. With a choice of 5 different optics and various mounting options, this IP66-rated luminaire is designed for both exterior and large public interior spaces, offering unmatched photometric performance.
