Mondo Arc Spotlights Next Store’s Use of Lumentalk

The Oct/Nov issue of Mondo Arc magazine turned the spotlight on the innovative installation at the Next store in Rugby, UK. The magazine focused on the UK clothing chain’s push towards more sustainable practices, and their need to reduce operational costs across its stores. 

Next used Lumentalk technology to dim and control over 500 Lumenalpha luminaires at its Rugby store. This increased flexibility allows the chain to test and fine-tune different control strategies, maximizing energy usage without affecting the customer experience.

The same issue also covered Lumenpulse’s new DMX/RDM technology. An enhancement on the DMX512 lighting protocol, DMX/RDM allows bi-directional control and communication, enabling faster and safer commissioning, and easy system monitoring.
