Montreal Casino Featured in Architectural SSL

Lumenpulse’s installation at the Montreal Casino has been featured in the latest issue of Architectural SSL magazine. The eye-catching project, designed by Quebec City lighting designers Ombrages, was included as part of a larger exploration of the “business of lighting,” and the relationship between property owners and lighting designers.

The magazine cited the Montreal Casino as an example of a customized lighting scheme helping to create, or in this case, re-create, a public image. “The lighting program, artfully integrated with the architecture, now defines and communicates a new contemporary public personality,” author Vilma Barr wrote.

Designers Ombrages used a variety of Lumenbeam and Lumenfacade luminaires to give the Casino its dazzling new look. “We wanted to make the building sparkle, like a diamond shining in the distance,” said Mehdi Laieb, principal at Ombrages.
